It’s a highly relatable story, which has been narrated with impressive maturity by debutant director Althaf Salim. The story unfurls with a string of lighter moments, stitched together without losing the balance and performed brilliantly by the film’s cast. Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela has its moments but ultimately fails to create any serious interest. With delicious visuals and good music, this one is a joyous ride that also narrates some stark realities and unprecedented situations that happens in life and could shake you up all on a sudden. I get the feeling that the crew had a hard time choosing between a light-hearted approach and a serious one, ultimately arriving at a compromise that doesn't do justice to either. Nivin Pauly, who incidentally is also the producer of the film, joins as one of the performers more than playing a hero. He is a lazy bum, who munches packets of chips and has no specific goals in life. Nivin steals your heart with a lovely show. Shanthi Krishna makes a terrific comeback playing a college lecturer whose life turn upside down, when she first knows about the illness. Lal comes up with one of the finest performances of his career unlike his usual characters as a loving husband, who is terribly affected by the situation and barely knows how to handle it. #Njandukalude nattil oridavela enthusian how to# Srinda, who plays the couple’s eldest daughter and Siju Wilson, playing her husband, have some of the funniest lines in the film. Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language dramedy film directed and co-written by Althaf Salim. Ahaana Krishna, Krishna Sankar and Sharafuddeen also scores well.
It stars Nivin Pauly, Shanthi Krishna, Lal, Ahaana Krishna, and Aishwarya Lekshmi. The film is based on writer Chandramathi's memoirs of the same name, which narrates her long fight with cancer. Co-written by George Kora, the film was produced by Nivin. Aiswarya Lakshmi, who plays Nivin Pauly’s pair, is fine but has a rather limited role to play. Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela is the kind of feel good entertainer that has its heart at the right place. It’s funny and has the emotional moments that could leave you with moist eyes.
